PGP Glass Private Limited is a global specialist in design, production, and decoration of glass packaging. We are driven by technology and innovation to create functional, aesthetic, and sustainable glass packaging solutions for our customers in the Cosmetics & Perfumery, Food & Specialty Liquor, and Pharmaceuticals industries.
We have our design, production, and decoration footprint in India, and Sri Lanka with an overall capacity of 1,530 tonnes per day, with 11 furnaces and 64 production lines. We have a global presence, with offices and warehousing facilities in France, Germany, Turkey, Spain, Brazil, India, UAE, UK, and Sri Lanka. We serve customers in over 50 countries around the world.

1990

Merger with Nicholas Piramal is completed

1998

Independent subsidiary with 54 % equity NPIL & 46% international investors

1999

Acquires CGC, Sri Lanka

2005

Acquires Glass Group Inc. (C&P Business) in the USA

2008

Name is changed from Gujarat Glass to Piramal Glass

2014

Delisted from Mumbai stock Exchange

2021

Blackstone Group acquires Piramal Glass, renamed to ‘PGP Glass’
