PGP Glass Commissions New Furnace at Gujarat Plant
PGP Glass Private Limited has begun operations at its new furnace in Kosamba, Gujarat, following its commissioning on January 23, 2025. The furnace was constructed with the involvement of glass melting technology specialist HORN, its subsidiary HORN India, and India’s Super Furnace Works.
The facility is designed to produce cosmetic container glass products in flint and has a daily production capacity of 120 tonnes. It supplies glass packaging for industries such as pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and perfumery.
HORN’s E-Fusion Power Boosting System and glass level measuring system HRD-BEAM have been integrated into the furnace to enhance production efficiency. The project marks continued collaboration between PGP Glass and HORN in manufacturing technology implementation.
